What's inside

Designed around how POTS actually feels

Six small, opinionated tools that respect how much energy you have left in the day.

Log a flare in seconds

Tap-fast symptom logging with POTS-aware presets. Heart rate, brain fog, pre-syncope, GI flare — the things your doctor actually asks about.

NASA Lean Test, built in

Run a guided standing test with a timer and the right thresholds for your age. Results are saved with your readings, ready to share.

Bring a clean report

Export a tidy PDF for your specialist with the patterns you have actually lived through — not a wall of raw data.

Your data, encrypted, on your phone

Everything you log lives in an encrypted database on your device. Optional encrypted backup to the cloud — you hold the key.

Medications & reminders

Track fludrocortisone, midodrine, propranolol, ivabradine, beta-blockers and the rest. Reminders are generic so med names never hit your lockscreen.

Designed for light-sensitive eyes

Soft lavender on warm dark. No flashing animations, no neon notifications. POTS days deserve a gentle UI.

How it works

From flare to follow-up, without the busywork

Four small steps. Designed to take less energy than they save.

STEP 01

Tune the app in 30 seconds

A short onboarding sets up your units, your standing-test threshold, and the comorbidity presets you actually live with — hEDS, MCAS, Long COVID.

STEP 02

Log it when it happens

Symptom presets, heart rate, hydration, salt, position changes. Generic reminders so a med name never appears on your lockscreen.

PotsTrack symptom-log timeline grouped by day, with tachycardia, brain fog, fatigue and presyncope entries showing severity scores
STEP 03

Run a guided standing test

Five-minute supine baseline, then 1, 3, 5 and 10-minute standing readings with age-aware thresholds and a clear pass/flag result. You can also try the test in your browser with our free calculator.

STEP 04

Show your specialist the pattern

Export a clean PDF or share an insights view. Bring evidence instead of trying to remember what last Tuesday felt like.

PotsTrack insights screen ranking triggers by how often they preceded a flare, with heat and prolonged standing topping the list

What this app isn't.

We're writing this in plain English because it matters and because nobody reads the disclaimer in the App Store.

  • Not a medical device. Not registered, not certified, not pretending to be.
  • Not medical advice. Nothing in this app diagnoses or treats anything. The standing-test result is what your phone measured, not a clinical reading.
  • Not a replacement for your specialist. Bring your data to them, don't skip them.
  • Not for emergencies. If you're unwell right now, call your local emergency number.
Questions

Honest answers, no marketing copy

Is PotsTrack a medical device or a diagnostic tool?
No. PotsTrack is a personal symptom diary. It does not diagnose, treat, monitor or prevent any condition, and it is not registered as a medical device. The standing-test result is a record of what you measured at home, not a clinical assessment. Always work with a qualified specialist for diagnosis and treatment.
What does it cost?
PotsTrack is free to install. There is no subscription required for the core diary, the NASA Lean Test flow, or PDF export. Paid features may appear in the future and will be clearly labelled.
Where is my data stored?
Locally on your phone in an encrypted SQLite database. If you opt in to cloud backup, your data is encrypted on your device before it ever leaves it — the cloud provider only sees opaque ciphertext.
Can I use this if I'm under 16?
PotsTrack is intended for people aged 16 and over. If you are younger, please use the app together with a parent or guardian — and please involve a clinician who knows you.
Will it support iOS?
Not yet. PotsTrack is Android-first while it stabilises. An iOS version is not currently planned.
How do I get it?
PotsTrack is coming soon to Google Play. Until then, the easiest way to follow progress is to bookmark this page and check back.
